Ammonia test 6.23.13

I have trouble reading the ammonia API test kit.  These don't look entirely green to me (.25ppm) but they don't look yellow either.  In all 3 pix below, the tube on the left is tank water.  The tube on the right is water straight from the tap.

To me, these both look yellowish-green, somewhere between 0 and .25ppm.

Same tests, photographed inside a couple mins later.  No flash used on this or the next pic.

Pectoral fin problems :(

Condition of fins after 7 days of salt treatment (1tsp / gal), daily 100% wc, temps 83-86 degrees.

Shaded area gives you the idea of how much pectoral fin is missing.  The yellow dots are where the white spots tend to appear (along the "rays" of the fin).

Another bad drawing!

Taken 6/21/13.  Hole in back fin maybe a bit bigger.  This is the best pic I could get of the pec fin.  If you look closely in the red outlined area, you can see some white spots.  Hard to see, I know.

The hole is actually a bit bigger than this, but this was the clearest picture I could take!

What could this be?

5/1/13: raised white dots on fin

5/3/13: Also started to see white spots on both pectoral fins (see red arrow on top).   Raised white dots on tail are circled in red. More fin clamping today. What is the lump towards his tail?
